Sundays

We are currently experimenting with the time of our Sunday meeting. Since April 2010 we have been meeting at 4.30pm on Sunday afternoons at St John's School in Goodwyns Road, Dorking.  The map is below. There is plenty of free parking at the school.

Every Sunday meeting is flexible in that we expect God to speak and meet with us and as such anything could happen, so don’t hold us to the following schedule. Having said that there are two elements to every Sunday gathering of the Church: praise and preaching from the Bible.

You can expect that we will have some notices outlining the morning and events coming up. Then we sing led by guitar or a CD. People will pray out or share something from the Bible or something they believe God has given them to encourage the church in its worship or in following Jesus. We welcome the use of spiritual gifts.  

At some point the children will start their meetings and leave the hall. Click for details.

We believe the Bible to be the main way that God speaks to us so we give a significant amount of time to preaching & teaching from the Bible. This is usually done by one of members but we will also have guest speakers.
